A Very Merry Readathon Wrap Up

This was a fun, Christmas-themed readathon. I don’t know whether I liked the shortness of the readathon considering it felt very low-key and relaxed or whether I wanted it longer so I could read more Christmas themed books.

  • Read a book that takes place during the holidays

Hercule Poirot's Christmas

What’s better than a murder mystery set over Christmas? Hercule Poirot’s Christmas was my second Agatha Christie book and my second Poirot book. A classic locked room mystery with a very unexpected murderer, it was easy and fun to read.

  • Read a book with a Christmas color(s) on the cover

A Miracle at Macy's

A Miracle at Macy’s is a romance book set around a lost dog in New York at Christmas. I really enjoyed this, especially how well the setting of New York was used and how the heroine’s friends and family were involved in the story as well. It was a really sweet, heartwarming Christmas romance.

  • Read a book just because you want to

Say Yes to the Marquess (Castles Ever After, #2)

Say Yes to the Marquess is the second in Dare’s Castles Ever After series and I think even more enjoyable than the first one. Tessa Dare’s voice is so fun to read and this book sped by. I couldn’t put it down (which I really should of, considering it was two in the morning).

This was a fun readathon, very light and easy and I actually managed to stick to my TBR mostly (though I haven’t finished All the Birds in the Sky yet).

Anyone read these books? What did you think?
