This is an amazingly detailed readathon based around Harry Potter, more specifically, the fifth year exams. There was also a booklet of careers where you could see which exams (reading prompts) you would have to do to get your dream career. And of course, I decided to go for the hardest career and see how it would turn out.
My TBR is here. I went for Alchemist and I actually managed to succeed in reading enough books to fit the prompts.

I did this readathon last year and really enjoyed it, even if I got a little confused on the rules! This year there is a discord and a careers booklet and it’s just seems like a very fun thing to do. This is a very well-organised readathon and while it starts off here, it has readathons throughout the year.
This year it runs through April (so the same time as Camp Nanowrimo unfortunately). The twitter for this readathon is here.
I did this readathon last year (Magical Readathon) but this year they have careers going on. You pick one career and try to get the O.W.Ls (and N.E.W.Ts) for that career. I’ve put options for all the prompts down and I’m going to aim for the career of Alchemist, which requires all the O.W.Ls.

I didn’t get to read the Harry Potter books I wanted to read before Christmas but I did get some nice Harry Potter related books for Christmas which are always welcome to I might have to have a week for reading all the new Harry Potter related books I have.
This readathon ran from the 17th to the 26th December and there were multiple ways of doing this readathon. My TBR is here and the challenge list is here. I didn’t manage to do all the challenges but I did get all the way through the little map, though a different way to how I was expecting.

I love all these Harry Potter readathons. Not only because I love Harry Potter but because these readathons are always so well-organised with introductory letters or maps. The other readathons are O.W.Ls Readathon, N.E.W.Ts Readathon and Magical Readathon: Charms Extra Credit.
This year it runs from the 17th – 26th December, though I’m hoping to get all the books read before Christmas because I’m pretty sure I’m going to get some new books.

This is another readathon that fits in well with the O.W.Ls and N.E.W.Ts readathons. When I was looking for a readathon to bridge the gap between the beginning of October and the last two weeks, when all the readathons started, I looked at this one and signed myself up for it last minute.
I’ve been trying to get more organised at readathons because the books I put on my TBRs are books that I have been wanting to get to for a while and these readathons are a great reason to shove them to the top of my TBRs. So you might actually get some wrap ups where I read the books on my TBR!

After the Magical Readathon and the N.E.W.Ts Readathon, I was really excited to see there was a small readathon to take part in between each of the readathons. This is Charms Extra Credit and there is another great extra sheet available with challenges!
This readathon runs from the 8th to the 14th October.
- Alohomora – Read a book that is first in the series
- Accio – Read a book that’s on top of your TBR
- Incendio – Read a book which has ‘fire’ or ‘flame’ in the title or series name or fire in the picture
- Rictusempra – Read a book that tickles you (exciting trope/genre/premise)
- Lumos – Read a book with a light cover

This book is the follow up readathon to the O.W.Ls readathon, which was great fun, and there is another letter from Hogwarts explaining the exams! The twitter for this set of readathons is here and this readathon runs all the way through August.
I qualified for Arithmancy, Astronomy, Care of Magical Creatures, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, History of Magic, Potions and Transfiguration.
